Foundation to Host Krista Johnson Memorial Fund

The Foundation is the host organization for the Krista Johnson Memorial Fund. The fund is established to honour Pembroke native, Krista Johnson who died as a result of a cycling accident in 2012. Krista had a strong community spirit and promoted healthy living. Donations can be made via the walk, or to the Foundation at any time.
Foundation Creates Founder's Circle For Donors

The Pembroke Petawawa District Community Foundation has created a Founder's Circle to recognize those who establish a Fund within the Foundation. When the idea of a Founder's Circle was presented, seven individuals and organizations joined the Circle. More information can be found by clicking on the link for the information sheet.
Foundation to Host Colby's Crusade

The Foundation is the host organization for fundraising for Colby's Crusade. The fund is for Colby Audette who has been diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a disease for which there is no cure. Colby will require equipment to assist his daily living, which is why the Fund was established. A fundraiser walk will take place on May 18.
Donation to MRI Fund

The Foundation made a gift of $5,000 to the Pembroke Regional Hospital MRI Fund. The Foundation was created to provide financial support to local charities, groups, and organizations. In a release, Matt Bradley, Chair of the Community Foundation, highlighted the importance of having such a machine in the Ottawa Valley and was grateful they were able to support the campaign.
